Tour #1. Saint-Petersburg. Pavlovsk Park
I've never seen the Pavlovsk Park in that period of year, when Autumn makes first signs of upcoming transition. And yes, it's perfect time to visit that imperor's mansion.
Architectors created here romantic vistas unpreccedent to Russia. For sure, everything in the park had to be relevant to the Europian pattern, especially pastoral mood. But the palace and other pavillions harmonize with natural landscape. So I don't interpret them as a surrealistic creation. On the contrary, I try to convince myself that the Pavlovsk Park was an idillyc intention to share the Western philosophy in 18-century Russia.
Pavlovsk Palace
Small bridge
Apollo colonnade
It's beautiful.
I can not choose the time to visit there
Just do it. :)
Правда: в погоду, как сейчас, самое время посещать парки. Позже там будет довольно скучно. Даже зимой.
Попробую успеть этой осенью. Но у меня, чем хуже погода, тем больше интересного получается )
Звучит как намек на новые фото!
