Lunar Elcipse in 2018 - The best so far
This Friday was the Lunar Eclipse everyone around the world was excited about.
For this particular lunar eclipse, Africa was lucky enough to win the astronomical lottery... The Eclipse was visible throughout the entire African continent. If you'd find yourself in the farther East or South of Africa, you would have had a better and longer view of the eclipse. This means, South Africans were treated to one of the best viewing locations in the world!
The last few seconds before the moon goes
Even though I felt rushed, to get the camera to the right settings, before the moon disappears behind a red colour, I also felt amazed, seeing the last bit of light on the moon's surface. A slight reminder of emptional goodbyes would be triggered, those last minute quick and rushed goodbyes no one likes... Anyways, here is my effort of capturing the 2018 lunar eclipse:
