A small fisherman's hut - Eine kleine Fischerhütte

A crypto project which sets stakes of its users to zero has nothing to do with the basic ideas of blockchains and cryptocurrencies.
It's a shame to run down such a project and let it go to waste in that way.
As funds on STEEM aren't safe anymore, I moved all over to HIVE.
That is a lovely image Kevin. The Nikon D7100 is a pretty sweet camera and with your eye for composition it's a winner. Nice framing of the shot.
On another note. The astrophotos that I shot the other night are a complete mess. :-) Better luck next time.
Even the raw files were not much good! Too much moonlight to get the milky way. I should have waited to let it set. Ho hum :-)
Thank you very much for your kind words @molometer
I need a lot of luck to get a pretty picture :-D
Unfortunately I have my camera not often with me. I think I should change this...
Not? That’s a pity :-/ Maybe you have some nice star constellations on the pictures?
I also can’t use the 10 hours I have taken from the Veil Nebula. Something went wrong, the stars on the images are too bright and the nebula too weak.
I thought that I had got a few nice shots of the Milky Way but no such luck. I did get some nice images of Cassiopeia. It's been so cloudy and the Moon is still full but the images I am getting are slowly improving.
Zoom in to see the details.
The moon can be very bright even when it’s size is just a small part. Another thing is that it don’t will be totally dark in summer. But the good news, it will be darker and darker in the next weeks 😊
Btw. the stars are really good in the center, in the corners there is the normal distortion. Maybe you can decrease the exposure time by 2 or 5 seconds and compare how the stars will look like then.
Next time we have a clear sky I'll try the 2 -5 second reduction in exposure time.
I have had an idea to make a telescope from an old pair of binoculars I have. It was my sons suggestion. It might just work? :-)
That's a good question. I think it depends on how you can modify the case to get into focus. You also have to think about how the focusing itself will be solved. Another point is the quality of the lenses and their size. All in all, it will probably be a pretty big craft project and probably a bit more expensive than a finished telescope.
But it also depends on what you want or what kind of binoculars you have.
Amzaing photography i glad too see a photo
