Keeping it simple

In a Tent pitched somewhere outside a small shopping complex in the outskirts of Belur.

Alarm rings
I hit the snooze button as I subconsciously knew that there more alarms coming up and I rolled across lazily, continuing to sleep.
Alarm rings again
One of My Palms starts searching for the phone to snooze again, but fails to find it.
This time I hear a voice calling me out.

"Dude, Wake Up!
Its 11 AM.
We're Late, We need to rush to the Bus Station"

It was My friend Shailesh who had slept in a tent across mine the previous night.
Well, he had all the reasons to be concerned as we had to go to Chikmagalur which only about 45 mins from Belur, but we had planned to trek all the way to a temple at top of the hill Mullayangiri. Its not the trek that was intimidating, its the fact that the path to hill had Leopards and Tigers in them which got him worried.

So I woke up and we started to dismantle our tents and pack our rucksacks.
Soon we started walking towards the bus stand which was not too far away. This is when i started to feel the weight of my backpack as it had a lot of stuff that what not really needed. Like Electric Kettles that i would never use to heat water,Religious books that i would never read while I am on road ect.. The list is really long, its the perks of having an Indian Mom.

After few minutes of walking, we finally reach the bus station and rushed towards the right platform to catch our bus. That is when i saw these bananas hung outside a shop that had its shutters closed. I was in a hurry, but i could spare the two extra minutes this shot, I had it already captured in my head. Hence,I quickly removed my camera from the rucksack and executed the shot the as I imagined.

This photo is pure example of how i want photography to be for me. Having the the ability to see the beauty in simple everyday things is a skill I always wanted, Hope i did justice to it in this case.

What do you think?
