My South African Photography: Savage Insects
On holiday in the Drakensberg I decided to get my macro photography on! Hiking around I came across a tree with quite cup shaped leaves. The insects in these leaves were quite a macro photography treasure.
Google maps link to the location.
Both of these photographs were taken with my Canon 100mm f2.8 lens.
I am no entomologist so sadly I have no idea what any of these bugs are called but they certainly are photogenic.
The first of these were two bugs very busily trying to forage through a leaf. Two different types of bugs working side by side just trying to get by. (Some of humanity could learn a thing or two about that.)
The next photograph was a complete gem. I just happened to stumble on a spider getting some lunch. I would like to claim some photographic prowess but it was pure luck!
Thank you for your work, I invite you to evaluate my work.
