365 Photos in 365 Days: Day 229 With My Camera I Can Freeze Time

It is in moments like this that I am most grateful for my camera. That I can freeze for a moment my wonder at how he can simultaneously be so smart and so little. That even though some day he and his brother will be at perpetual war, in this moment I will remember that just out of frame Alexcito is worried that the hot water will burn him. That although eventually my memory of these little moments will fade I will always have the power to pull them back and savor them again. 

Shot with my Canon 70D and Sigma 35mm ART lens. f1.4, 1/125, ISO 100. The light was coming in through the window so beautifully that the image barely needed any editing at all.
