PHOTOGRAPHY : PRAYING MANTIS

Locusts or worship mantis are insects belonging to the Mantodea order.
The word mantis comes from the Greek "Mantis" meaning "prophet" or "fortune teller"
A female mantis can produce 300 eggs that are all protected in a foam bag.

Grasshopper is a carnivore, the type of animal commonly preyed on by various locusts, from small insects such as crickets, butterflies, bees, to vertebrate animals such as snakes, rats, lizards, frogs and small birds.
