SPIDER AND THE FALLEN LEAF

This spider, resting on the small fallen leaf ...

... doesn't look particularly interesting ... there are many similarly shaped arachnids around ... this one is not especially colorful ... or large ... or anything ... at first glance ... but ...

... if he feels endangered ... he will go to hide under the leaf ... and ...

... if you take a better look, you'll see that the dried out leaf isn't just any fallen leaf, but this leaf is a home ... some sort of tent ... carefully shaped ...

... and carpeted with silk.
