A Joburg Night

Took a night time photo of a section of Johannesburg city, my home city in South Africa, after an evening of heavy rain.
Wow, doesn't she looks pretty, especially after all the smog is washed out of the air haha.

The city of gold, as its known as, because of its historic connection with gold, which was its reason for begging.
A little smoggy at times, a little dirty in places, but a city of a great many opportunists and opportunities.

My home for 29 years, and a place I love. Filled with the real good, bad and ugly... and captured here, the beautiful.
The city looks so peaceful at night, but is always busy, with business being made and bought, entrepreneurs scattered all over, and a hub of ideas and people making life happen.
