The Pillars of Creation - Birthplace of Stars

These are the mighty "Pillars of Creation", a gravitational collection of gas and space dust. This is a birthplace for stars, which are formed when parts of the cloud collapsed in on itself due to its own mass and density. In fact, the pillar-like structure are formed by photo-errosion of stars already formed in the nebula.
