The Most Beautiful Flower ~ Original Photography

Although, I don't truly believe this is the most beautiful flower, because flowers do not compete with each other and they are all unique and beautiful in their own way, I do have to say this is a really stunning flower.

Hard to find woodland plant, originating from Japan, where it is known as "Renge-shoma" meaning Lotus-Shoma, because it resembles a small lotus flower.

As you can tell if you have been following my posts, I LOVE flowers! They are the beautiful gems, in which should be prized and respected, they are indeed the sex organs in which supply us with more beautiful blossoms the year to come.

My father-in-law loves growing unique plants, we have been anxiously waiting for this bud to blossom for over 3 weeks now, and its finally time!! He claims it is hard to grow, I can see why, considering its natural habitat is in woodlands, but he successfully grew it in a flower bed next to the house. I will take the seeds and grow them on my property (that is actually woodland) when they are mature.
