Exploring the Swiss Alps - Documentation
Lat week a friend and I made the decision to get out on an adventure: We wanted to camp out in the wild at more than 7500 feet in late October. Yeah doesn't sound like a brilliant idea. So thought my parents. Well we wouldn't get intimidated by the cold, critique or the heavy cameras, tent and wood which we had to carry up. We had two reasons to go on this adventure: 1. We wanted an adventure in the wild. 2. We wanted to document it with our photos. So without fordurtodo let's dive in to the story.
Wayup
It started all at the Vereina Hütte in Graubünden. This place was exactly below the tree-less-zone so we started to fill our bags with wood because we knew this was our last opportunity to load our bags.
Taking a Break
With our luggage containing more than 30 kilos combined we had to make a lot of breaks, but who doesn't like a break with this beautiful view and blue sky?
Reaching the Top
After 5h of walking and just having passed the steepest part we reached the top at the Jöri Lakes. It was an incredible feeling and view up there.
The Night
One of our main reasons to go up to the Jöri Lakes where the stars. Up there, there is literally zero light pollution: so the perfect place for astrophotography.
