After a very relaxing day on the island of Naxos, I strolled in the late afternoon at the harbor to watch the sunset. The light was wonderful, the atmosphere magical, and I became quite interested in the ropes and arrangements that were used to tie the boats. I started a photo essay that generated a series of photographs and video-art. I'm posting here one of the photos to share with you these moments.

What struck me most were the tension games that kept the boats tied to the dock. Strings, lines, knots, tensions, shadows and motions were captured in several clicks. It was a memorable afternoon, which led me to start a new field of research concerning the universe of the Mediterranean, sea life and the Greek islands. I keep searching in my travels for variations on this topic.
