DIY portrait taking with your phone
One thing you should try to locate in your phone camera settings is ISO. ISO is the rate of noise in an image. It has to do with how much light enters the lens which controls the presence in the picture. Make sure you set the ISO at 100 when shooting outdoors or in an environment where there's light. If you set the ISO right, you'll like the way your image comes out.
