Brussels Bright Festival

This weekend a very interesting festival took place in Brussels. It blended art and cityscape and made the European capital a live city, pulling its citizen's out of their warm houses.
In reward for them facing the frost, beautiful light and sound effects had been put up in the city center transforming it into dreamland. We felt proud of our little city, a city full of humour and famous for its surrealistic art. Some of the artefacts left me in awe: this one decomposes the stages of light transfer that come into the creation of an image: It makes me think of all the elements that come into account for each type of creation, whether it's artistic, human or even nature's.
This festival allowed me to look at my city from another perspective. Finally it also reminded me of the fact that despite the terrorist attacks, Brussels remains a city of lights.
