On Malta there are a lot of these "hotel cats", they don't really belong to anyone, but they hang out around hotels and get fed from the hotel staff and tourists. The are used to people, cuddly and opportunistic (well, just cats 😀)

A dear friend of mine moved to Malta. Only a couple of days ago he posted a picture of hotel cats to Facebook. They seem to be a thing in Malta :D A bit like the cat cafés all across mainland Europe (and Japan).
