The truth, it's quite difficult to group in only 10 the beautiful places that Venezuela has for tourism. However, I did my compilation of what I consider the top 10. But I repeat, they are much more than 10.

Tourism in Venezuela has become a hobby for many people, as we have various options to have fun in different tourist places. Here are the top 10 destinations in our country:

The Gran Sabana and Canaima, Edo. Bolivar:

La Gran Sabana, is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country, and an impressive place that you will love when you visit it, its landscapes will impress you and you will live an incredible and unique experience especially if you know the Angel Falls declared World Heritage by Unesco in 1994.

Colonia Tovar, Edo. Aragua:

We are in front of an authentic German colony outside of Germany, located in the colder mountains of Aragua state. This place is only 2 hours from the capital city, is now one of the most visited by tourists. It is considered the perfect place to share with family or couple.

The Medanos of Coro, Edo. Falcon:

The Medanos de Coro National Park is a unique desert landscape in Venezuela, located in Falcón state, is a World Heritage Site proclaimed by Unesco in 1993 due to its historical and economic past.

Puerto la Cruz, Edo. Anzoátegui:

It is one of the best known places in Venezuela, because it has many tourist attractions and an important hotel infrastructure. This port has some beautiful beaches that when visiting them only causes to stay in them.

The Waters of Moises, Edo. Sucre:

This beautiful resort is located in the state of Sucre via Casanay, is a spa with mineralized waters with a large expanse of land and a variety of pools and waterfalls.

It has a small zoo, areas for barbecue and lodging. On entering we find statues of sphinxes, Moses and other wonders that will allow you to recreate in ancient Egypt with everything and Nile River, next to fresh waterfalls, slides, hot springs and much more.

Sierra Nevada, Edo. Mérida:

A place that you will undoubtedly love to visit, the Sierra Nevada National Park is the perfect place to spend your holidays in Venezuela, as it has paradisiacal landscapes, characterized by permanent snowy peaks, including the highest in Venezuela with a height Of 5009 mts, on the level of the sea. If you visit the beautiful places in Merida you will not regret it, knowing each of your tourist attractions in this park will be a unique and unforgettable experience.

Island of Margarita, Edo. New Sparta:

We are facing one of the most luxurious destinations in all of Venezuela and the place where there are some of the best beaches in Venezuela, here you can enjoy the best parties, resorts, spas. An authentic pearl of the Caribbean.

Mochima, Edo. Sucre:

One of the best destinations in Venezuela is Mochima, located between the cities of Barcelona and Puerto la Cruz. Visiting its beaches, archipelagos and islands take you to another world. You can reach these natural wonders through a boat service located on site.

Morrocoy, Edo. Falcon:

Morrocoy has delightful beaches, unique natural landscapes, islands, private beaches, islets and some beautiful cays called Borracho, Pelón, Sombrero, Sal, Playuela and Peraza. It was declared national park on May 26, 1974.

Archipiélagos of the Roques, Dependencias Federales:

The Archipelago of Los Roques is world famous. Here we find spectacular landscapes as its calm waters, with fine sand allows us to enjoy a magnificent environment. At present it represents one of the main tourist attractions of the country.
