Photos from Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World

Magic kingdom is a theme park at the walt disney world resort in BAy lake,Florida, near Orlando. The park is inspired by Cindrella Castle, inspired by the fair tail castle.

Adventureland is hard to describe. It's part jungle, part tropical island and there's a desert oasis thrown in as well.

From Main Street, you enter Adventureland by crossing a wooden planked bridge. One thing you notice about this section, the walkways where you first enter tend to be narrow and congested. It's easy to overlook the authentic landscaping as you're kept busy avoiding strollers and other guests.Adventureland does have some of the better shops. If you need new sunglasses, this is where you'll find Island Supply by Sunglass Hut. If you need a tropical shirt (and who doesn't?) you'll find what you're looking for at one of the open air shops. If you need a Johnny Depp fix, anything and everything that's Pirates of the Caribbean themed is sold here.

Fantasyland is based on Disney's classic animated films and is the place where children of all ages can step right into a fairy tale. What fairy tale would be complete without a castle? Cinderella Castle is the gateway into this land and its walls stretch across Fantasyland separating it from the rest of the Magic Kingdom. Here, anything is possible.

The attractions in Fantasyland take you back to your childhood. Experience such classics as "it's a small world", Pete Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, The Mad Tea Party and the 3D film, Mickey's PhilharMagic. If you're hungry, grab a bite to eat at Pinocchio's Village Haus, Storybook Treats or the Cheshire Cafe.

This new spectacular promises to take the audience on a musical journey in search of their very own Happily Ever After “by showcasing some of the greatest adventures Disney characters have taken to achieve their dreams. The show will feature the latest fireworks and pyrotechnics and original animation, plus a heart-tugging original score. And thanks to the inclusion of state-of-the-art projection mapping technology, more Disney characters than ever before will be featured in the show, including moments from Moana, Brave, Big Hero 6, Zootopia, The Princess & The Frog, Aladdin and many others."

Follow the strums of the banjo music and the smell of the smoked turkey legs and it will lead you to the old-time wild west of Frontierland. The crash of the cascading water of Splash Mountain and the screams of the guests in the runaway trains of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will entice you to see more of America's pioneer homeland. Cross the Rivers of America to explore Tom Sawyer's Island or relax in the air-conditioned theatre to see the old-fashioned hoedown fun of the Country Bear Jamboree.

Tomorrowland was originally designed to portray Disney's view of the future. The only trouble with futuristic views is that they need frequent updating.

In the 90's, Disney chose a different tactic and renovated Tomorrowland to depict the future as described by sci-fi writers from the 1920's and 1930's. With this imaginative decor, Tomorrowland is the "Future That Never Was."

Lots of neon, glass and gleaming metal is used to create this themed land. Over by Space Mountain, there are metal palm trees that actually react to sunlight.

Over time, some attractions were renamed to give them a futuristic feel. The "WEDway People Mover" which began operating in 1975 is now the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. The Grand Prix Raceway from '71 is the Tomorrowland Speedway. Other than their names, neither of these attractions have changed much since they opened.

Another minimally changed attraction is Astro Orbiter which replaced 1974's Star Jets. At least with Orbiter, if you're not bothered by heights, you get an amazing view of the park.

The Beast's castle stands up on a hill above the village. Inside, the Be Our Guest Restaurant is counter service during the day, and table service at night. French-inspired fare is served, keeping with the "Beauty and the Beast" theme. The restaurant's three dining rooms serve 550 guests in three dining rooms - the elegant ballroom setting of the mysterious West Wing of the Beast's castle, the Rose Gallery featuring a life-size music box of Belle and Beast (only open at lunch), and a beautiful ballroom with chandeliers and the views of snow falling outside the windows.
