The Ikogosi Warm Springs is a tourist attraction located at Ikogosi, a town in Ekiti State, Nigeria.
Unarguably, Ikogosi spring is a geological wonder. It is said to be the only one of its kind discovered anywhere in the world.

Ever fascinating as a result of its magical nature, the warm and cold springs of Ikogosi flow to a point where they meet, with each spring retaining its thermal identity.

The warm spring has a temperature of up to 70 degrees C at the source and 37 degrees C after meeting the cold spring.

Myth behind the spring

THE QUARRELSOME WIVES
Ogangan, a farmer, many many years ago married two wives who never saw eye-to-eye; Awele was hot tempered, while Awon was calm, demure.

Failing to agree on anything, one day they got into a fight using their magical powers, and they eventually turned into water, says the Legend.
Awele became the warm water while Awon is said to be the cold water at Ikogosi.

Upon getting back to see what had become of his wives, Olosun transformed into a Rock to guide them. Olosun is the hills surrounding the spring.

The water is said to have curative powers.
