in #photography7 years ago

The National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest in 2016 came to an end. And this means that it's time to name the winners!

Out of more than 10,000 applicants, experts selected the best of the best. The main prize was given to a talented photographer from Hong Kong Anthony Lau for his amazing work "Winter Horseman".

As for me, it's hard to choose the best among these pictures, because each of them is a masterpiece. All of them deserve the highest award. In general, see for yourself ...

The winner of the main prize: "Winter Horseman", Mongolia

Winner in the "Cities" category: "Ben Youssef", Marrakech, Morocco

The first place in the category "Nature": "Wherever you go, I'll follow you"

Encouraging prize in the category "Cities": "Separation", Manhattan, New York, USA

Honorable prize in the category "Nature": "Bears on an iceberg", Nunavut, Canada

Second place in the nomination "People": "Dreams of a roof over your head", Varanasi, India

The third place in the category "Nature": "Lagunas Baltinache" (Atacama Desert), Antofagasta, Chile
