RE: FIRST SNOWFALL in my city :)

in #photography8 years ago

I prefer to be in warm weather too, though I have found that resisting it makes it that much less enjoyable, makes my body tense and I feel little inspiration for movement . But with only warm/hot weather where would we be without the most excellent time for: cuddling, a warm cup of tea and a hot bowl of soup, seeing our breath on the outside of our bodies, experiencing cold-induced goosebumps, molding nature in the palm of our hands, wearing a handmade winter wardrobe, snuggling up by the fire and laying peacefully in the morning with the covers pulled up to the chin with all our body heat trapped inside? So much to be grateful for.

Born and raised in Colorado and lived in the tropics -- both have their great beauty. Thanks for sharing the snow. We still have some 90 degree temps in Texas. I loved all the animal prints and your bundled up picture finale. Upvote!!!

thank you very much for your comment. everything you wrote sounds very comfortable and inspiring, I'm even ready to reconsider my attitude to the cold. I go drink a cup of hot tea and start to make a new post about how to make wax candles by your own hands. yesterday after the walk wanted to do something warm, would like to share the results

OoOOo---that's a perfect cold weather project. I'm really big on hot chocolate when it's cold. Something about that hearty, creamy drink that warms me from the inside out. Winter has some very special offerings.
