Take a Peek

The best views are often not the most obvious ones. You have to go through some bushes and discomfort to get to the good stuff.

Shot with the Nikon D7200 and Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8.

This last one is my favourite because of the tiny red cottage, all alone in that little island.

Beautiful shots @eveuncovered, I love it when the water looks like a sheet of glass like this - so still and peaceful. Would love to live in that house!

This is a pretty small lake so it was wonderfully still, the other lake I was at earlier the same morning, was a lot more turbulent.

Wonderful wide angle shots @eveuncovered.
Please share the reviews of sigma 18-35 f/1.8 ??

I was trying to find you the post about it when I bought it, but I have so much stuff that I couldn't find it. 😅 Short review: it's a heavy beast, the quality is incredible, best I have ever tried, and if you are in the lookout for a good all around lens for a crop sensor camera, and have the cash to spare, I highly recommend it!

oh my god the price is $699. Its so so and so high. I wish i could afford that much .
Will work hard one day i will definitely buy this

That looks like my dream summer cottage right there

I think it might not be such a dream up close😅

The remote location sounds intriguing but yeah, it might not be so pretty from up close

I WANNA SEE THIS LITTLE RED HOUSE - Is it private land?!?

Yes it's a private island but I could go there if I had a boat :P

dang you need a boat! is it uninhabited most of the year then!?

Dang you need a boat!

I'm a bot. I detect haiku.

Haha yeah, I think no one really goes there other than on rare occasions.

Well, a little too much of the forest surrounding it in my opinion but other than that it wouldn't be a bad place to settle down :D

These pictures look magical! Love this so much :)

Thank you so much :)

Looks magical!

1st one is the best one!!

Beautiful, Your Finland wildlands photos remind me so much of the Northern Michigan I grew up in.
