Today Mr. Hippo went on an aeroplane! He flew to lovely England and went for a walk along a canal! (Because there wasn't enough of those in Holland...) Here he is!

I found my new favourite childrens book!

The book is called 'Diary of a Worm' and is written by Doreen Cronin. It genuinely answered a lot of questions about worms. I'm not sure that anyone asked these questions. But I was highly entertained! Which probably worried a few people...I'm not sure that laughing at childrens books in the library is the best measurement of sanity...

EasyJet are developing a pair of shoes that link up with your smartphones GPS to navigate and provide directions! The right shoe vibrates when you need to turn right, and the left shoe vibrates to turn left! So genius! They are called Sneakairs and have been tested this year in The Barcelona Street Project. I wonder if a similar technology might develop from the 'The North Sense', an implanted sensor which vibrates when you face north...yes, this does exist! You can pre-order one for £250 from Cyborg Nest and it's due to start shipping soon! But we will save cyborg artificial sensors for another day! I think the general population is going to be much more accepting of footwear than cybernetics!
