Sunset over Little Annapurna in the Enchantments of Washington State

A planned day hike took a little bit longer than anticipated when we encounter lots of new snow the higher we got. Not able to return the way we came our hike out involved watching the sun set and then hiking a snowy 6 miles back to the car after dark. The golden trees are Larches which turn that color for a few weeks every fall.
