Old river dam near czech border

The river damn Fláje is located where once a little village existed. There are still some ruins arround which shows that there were actually people living. A lot of germans used to live in this area. They were forced to leave after the WWII. There are lots of little barns which are empty in this area. But it's not only in this area. Germans hat to flee from all over the Czech Republic and Poland and so on. They left all they're possessions and had to start a new live in Germany. My Grandpa often tells me her story of what happened during her escape from poland. They actually were in good wealth, had a small barn and a little shop where they sold baskets. When they heared that the russians were coming they immidiately had to go. Leaving the animals only taking there dog with them. That is how many of the refugees had to do it. But not all of them got warned.
