MONTE CRISTO POTATO PUFFS - Papas Duquesas ( Food Photo Shoot )

in #photography7 years ago

Hey Steemians!! Did you make through your Monday?

In my family, whenever there is a hard day, I like to make comfort food

Well, if that ever happens to you, here is an idea for you

The translation for Papas Duquesas from Spanish to English is duchess potatoes They're simply breaded and fried balls of mashed potatoes. Sounds amazing, yes?

These are very popular in Chile and maybe with your help, they can be popular in your country as well.

Side note: I had quite a spill on an ATV Sunday night. I had to go to the doctor today, and wow, it was quite a visit. I will be posting a lot more about it later

As always, the RECIPE is available upon request. First request gets an upvote

I love these photos! :) I only recently got into food photography and I must say that the best part of it is eating everything when the work is done :P The wooden boards give a really nice effect to the images , makes the food look more homely ^^ Well done!

Thanks so much @eriluks. Are you posting your photography here on steemit?

No problem ^^ I literally just started, got my account accepted yesterday so looking around what everyone else is doing . I want to do an intro first before I post any photography related things. So you are the first person who's post I commented on :P I like the recipe might try it out one day ^^

I totally agree. Your first post should be an intro post. If you would like an example of one that is doing well, you can look at my sisters - https://steemit.com/introduceyourself/@fullofhope/full-of-hope-is-now-on-steemit-and-now-i-shall-introduce-myself. Commenting like you are on several people's posts is a great idea, that is what she did also. Try to give me heads up when you do plan on posting your intro, and I will do what I can to help

That looks incredibly delicious... thanks for sharing @gringalicious

Well thank you @hms818 for commenting. Have a great Tuesday!

Thanks so much @lichtblick. Happy Tuesday to you!

Likewise my dear :-) You are very welcome :-)

This is soul food. Very nice recipe

Yeah, I guess it might fit into that category. I need to get more into soul food. I think it would make some great posts. Thanks @bernadette

Yes absolutely. I don't know of all the places in the world but here in South Africa us as Afrikaans (Dutch) people are all about soul food. :)
