I am a proud Sarawakian😍👍
This is one of ethnic groups in east Malaysia, Sarawak. This traditional clothes were proudly represent Iban or dayak community. We Sarawakians may not have tall building like KLCC, we may not have train stations or proper public transportations, we may still have poor facilities in certain areas here but we are live as ONE; Whether they are Iban, kadazan, bisayak, malay, chinese etc.. We can still live in peaceful & harmony life. Many can speaks more than 3 languages, most of us are born from multiracial marriages. Muslims & Christians at a mosque and church built next to each other (Miri, Sarawak) share their carpark area. On Fridays, the church opens its gate to allow Muslims to park their vehicles during prayer time. On Sundays, the mosque open its gate to allow churchgoers to use the car park. On special occasions like Christmas and buka puasa (break fast during Ramadhan) season, Muslims & Christians come together for joint gatherings. Its not my intention to compare my beautiful hometown to the other states/ nations, I am eventually grateful & thankful to be part of this wonderful people. I LOVE SARAWAK! NGAP SAYOT
