RE: Hyperlapse San Diego #2

in #photography8 years ago

wow, i'm hoping to be able to achieve a fraction of this someday. i just started with timelapses--also used to like watching the youtube "timelapse music videos".

so without equipment, you literally just move the camera manually every shot?? 0_0 your videos look sooo precise it's hard to imagine. also, just curious, what camera are you using?

looking forward to seeing more of your stuff :) upped & follwed

Thank you! Yes I take a step for every shot. I learned from others on youtube along with my own trial and error finding efficient ways of doing it manually. Its really not all that difficult, just takes a little patience.

I use a Canon T5 Rebel and a monopod, every shot is re-aligned with the grid on my screen, placing the focus point in the same spot. Then I use Lightroom for batch editing and After Effects to stabilize everything. Doing it this way I can get a 4-7 second clip done in about 30-50min minus the post editing.
