Fixing My Ninja 636 (part 3)

in #photography7 years ago

Hello all !

Ninja almost finished.
A lot of work and money invested.

Some parts bought but most of parts restored.

Front end steering limiter was damaged so I had to weld it.
Then two hours of work with fine rasp and the result is perfect.

Left engine/alternator cover took me 4 hours of grinding, painting, sealing etc.
See the difference ?

After ;)

Broken left foot support also welded and grinded, not painted yet but it is aluminum so I will just cover it with transparent lack.

Many plastic parts ware broken ... lucky to have a great store in the neighbourhood.
With special and very strong glue, a lot of plastic parts ware saved.

Now my Ninja looks just fine. Needs some more paint jobs but it runs very nice and fast.

I also instaled LED lights. The dark age is gone.
This is a picture of low beam. It was not possible to take a picture of high beams with my phone... Too bright light even during the daylight.

Now my Ninja is waiting for me to fix my budget ...needs insurance and licence plate....
Hope not for long.
