Hello!
with the summer months approching i thought it was time to do a bit of decluttering, when i stumbled across my Steemit account. I have not used this account in almost a year however when coming back to it i found that minrow booster had been paying me for all this time so that was nice.
it occurs to me that most of the following i gained will have done the same as me and lost contact therefore I ask this question to you.
what does it take now to gain a large following on Steemit, or begin to develop one.
i am open to most suggestions if you would be so kind as to leave them.

I thinl the best way is to engage and comment on others posts, so they see you are a actual person and if you have interesting content they might start following you.
Also promoting content outside of Steem is something to think about, there is plenty of Steem related discords out there.
