Peru celebrated 197 Years of Independence
Every year Peru celebrates Independence Day two consecutive days, July 28 and 29.
On July 28 of every year a Mass is celebrated in the Cathedral of Lima and the President of the Republic makes a Message to the Nation.
On July 29, citizens celebrate in the streets, and the Armed Forces, Universities, Municipalities, public and private schools and dancers parade with their best choreography before the President of the Republic.
