My First Mountain Bike - Throwback Post

in #photography6 years ago

This is a picture of my first mountain bike, way back in 2016.

It has taken me to wonderful places I never should have been if not for cycling.

And maybe some places I wasn't really supposed to be in.

I gave my bike to my brother when I moved to the city and he, in turn, gave it to his girlfriend.

It's still working to this day, although with different components.

Me too! Since I started riding I've gone to places that I only see on a map and I've already lost 20kg.

Gotta love the bicycle hand-me-down tradition. My current road bike is from my brother, who got it from his friend, who got it from his dad.

Carried us all safely for 20~30yrs now.

That's one durable bike! I can't imagine any of my bikes aside from the Santa Cruz V10 lasting for 10 years being used regularly!
