Oh @nainaztengra I am so, SO sorry that things unfolded like this for you!!! House renovations can be so infuriating at times - and also I know how much you were looking forward to having everything done for the house warming!

It is a pity you could not postpone the party until after - but obviously get why you can't!

We moved into our place just over a year ago too and at that point were doing what sounds like pretty much all the same stuff as you are currently dealing with - including the frustrations!

The little village we stay in is pretty much cut off from everything and the neighbouring town is a tourist / holiday town... so it is like everyone is permanently in holiday mode... which CAN be wonderful, but not really when you are wanting to get things done.

Well, it is Wednesday - so a few more days to go until Monday. I hope things go VERY smoothly between now and then and that the workers actually manage to get a LOT more done than anticipated.

I am sure your house warming will go off beautifully nonetheless though :)
