Come With Me, Let's Get Surrounded With Trees & Love
Last weekend, I've been to Lake Gardens, one most iconic park located in Kuala Lumpur near Jalan Parlimen. Currently known as Perdana Botanical Garden.
It relatively close to my home but usually I visit other park that is also near to my home for a jog, which i'll share at the end of this post~
I love visiting the park - especially those huge one with lots of trees :D
Watching how well those trees and plants being taking care of give a sense of love.
Love those gardener that need to take care a huge ground of nature. It's no easy job, to be under the sun/rain sometimes when in need to fix. It's a different feelings when you visit the forest, do the hiking and be really close with it. Wonder if anyone can related to that?
Talking about park visit, I made a trip to Sydney and before the end of the year, to Hong Kong. It was my first time visiting the Sydney Botanical Garden and I was blown away. Maybe it was my first time came across such a beautiful park with so so many types of flowers? Not too sure beside feeling good, I could walk there everyday ahha.. In Hong Kong, one of their most iconic park is the Kowloon Park. I didn't manage to spend much time in the park tho I been there as my itenery was pack at that time...so it was quite a feeling of #upanddown ...
So let's come back to Lake Gardens.
This place gave me suprises on this visit.
I used to came to this park whenever I do a run training back then, with friends or my own, but to my surprise there's actually a lot of sections in the park that I never explore part before.
I am not too sure if those are new sections or simply because I never really pay attention... LOL, but anyway, all those 'sydney feelings' came back to me... It was straight to my brain that, "What's the big deal with Sydney or HK anyway, this garden is AWESOME!" :D
My bf and me thought that it would be more incredible if we could just drop a visit to this place 2 weeks back, where our Malaysia weather suddenly drop and a little cold for that period... Ooo you could find yourself really in oversea already~~~
See these trees with yellowish green leaves here. So beaaautiffful, got japan feel tak? Hahaha.. Oh, before you thought that this park surrounds with flowers, oh nope.. mainly are trees, different types of plantations, they do have Orchid Park, Hibiscus Park...and we ran into some chickens and turkey cage too :P What am saying here is, the manager and the team of this place really put a lot of efforts in maintaining the quality, and healtiness of these trees and plants around. Thumbsupp ah! OK must give credit to our #KualaLumpurCityHall this time... a.k.a #DBKL since #LakeGardenKL it's managed by them ;)
I particularly love the structure of this place too, is so huge you don't really know where you are :O LOL
It's not like you will get lost, but it's good to be a bit lost sometimes aye, it gave you that feeling haa, you don't know what's ahead of you :P, but if you can read map, you can easily find your way out.
Don't take the free ride they provided nearby the entrance of this park though... Take the walk. I did a 5.1 KM walk just that morning though... pretty amazing. We could continue for more if it's not the hunger strikes. Heh.
Oh, have a look on this weird tree :P
Don't simply grab foods you found in forest ~~~ 'Bahaya' (means dangerous in Malay)
A little place we found that triggers our excitment was the Deer Park... OK. I am not a fan of captivity, but I am also excited to see a deer closely. When I was getting near to the site, I get the feeling it's not that bad. There's no $ involves in exchange to watch this, it was literally just a small group of 'family' in there. Have a view on my video below :)

They look so curious. Or maybe they just give some attention to some dummies here (me) haha...! Whatever it is, I think what's lacking here is more trees ... pity them they actually take the shade under this bridge. But again, if they plant more trees, how could we see clearly these animals activites eh.. Mnmm #complicated
Visitor Info: Free Entrance
Opens everyday from 7am until 8pm
Here is the park flyer if you wish to learn about the surroundings before visiting: http://www.klbotanicalgarden.gov.my/images/PBG-Flyer.pdf Amazing eh?

If you came across the bird park, it has certain fees for adult and children. I won't recommend this to anyone who against captivity. You won't feel good looking from afar despite they practice free-flight concept and have different kind of species in there.
Nevertheless, I definitely comes back again! ..and again, and again =D

As for the other other park, there's this The Metropolitan Park which we local knows it as 'Taman Layang Layang' (The Kite's Park), reason being it get lots of kite flying in the air by around 4-5pm and crowded especially on both weekend morning and sunset hours. Do drop by, is a very nice place for running/cycling too...but mind the speed! ;)
That's all for now! If you have any park in mind do share with me, I like to hear it from you =) Thank you in advance!
Have a good day ahead, the weekend is near 😊💕✌️
