Spring has sprung

Winter has stuck around for way to long for many of us in the U.S. but down here in Florida, the signs are upon us. Sandhill Cranes are frequently seen in residential areas as we encroach on their natural habitats. I happened upon this little family behind an office building as they wandered out of the wooded area just beyond the parking lot. Oddly enough, they didn't mind me getting somewhat close. This mom and dad has just the one little babe with them, cute as can be, following them toward a small marshy area.
