Within the historical, artistic and cultural wealth of a country like Spain, so old and at the same time, so rich in testimonies of that great adventure of Humanity, which is Evolution, whose presence is already confirmed from those ancestors who expressed their concerns spiritual in the depths of the caves, such as, for example, those of Altamira, also highlights that happy disposition towards festive traditions, whose picturesqueness and richness of content constitutes another focus of attraction, of genuine color, which always welcomes, with open arms, to everyone who wants to participate, regardless of their origin and condition.

Spring, with the burst of life and color that characterizes it and above all, the arrival of the summer solstice, with the festival of Saint John the Baptist and the most magical night of the year, can be considered as the starting signal that announces, to the four cardinal points, not only the beginning of summer and the arrival of a fair and long-awaited vacation, but also the beginning of flowery traditions, where the pilgrimages mark a brilliant and decisive cultural milestone, which always attracts attention, from both locals and strangers, for its beauty and spectacularity.

Dentro de la riqueza histórico, artística y cultural de un país como España, tan viejo y a la vez, tan rico en testimonios de esa gran aventura de la Humanidad, que es la Evolución, cuya presencia se constata ya desde aquellos antepasados que plasmaron sus inquietudes espirituales en lo más profundo de las cavernas, como, por ejemplo, las de Altamira, destaca, también, esa feliz disposición a unas festivas tradiciones, cuyo pintoresquismo y riqueza de contenidos constituye otro foco de atracción, de genuino colorido, que acoge siempre, con los brazos abiertos, a todo aquel que quiera participar, sin importar su origen y condición.

La primavera, con la eclosión de vida y de color que la caracteriza y sobre todo, la llegada del solsticio de verano, con las festividad de San Juan Bautista y la noche más mágica del año, pueden ser considerados como el pistoletazo de salida que anuncia, a los cuatro puntos cardinales, no sólo el comienzo del estío y la llegada de unas justas y ansiadas vacaciones, sino también, el comienzo de unas floridas tradiciones, donde las romerías marcan un brillante y determinante hito cultural, que siempre atrae la atención, tanto de propios como de extraños, por su belleza y espectacularidad.
