Bridges

in #photography3 years ago

Bridges are fascinating. Such heavy structures able to support additional weight of vehicles and people who use them. Some are pretty beautiful whereas others serve their main purpose with no aesthetics value. However, I am certain that every one of them is beautiful in someone’s eyes. Maybe not to me but to someone with a deferent taste.

Regardless of whether I like the design I do admire the people that designed it and especially the ones who built it.

A great way to observe bridges is canoeing down the river flowing through a city. I’ve done that once a year ago and it was amazing. Having good company made it even better that only observing the surroundings.

Wonderful, bright day and beautiful photos. Is this the Fort Edmonton Footbridge? Thanks for sharing, @k4r1nn!

It is the Fort Edmonton Footbridge. Its just a few minute drive from my home so we go there often.

Wow! The sky is so blue and clear! The air must be pure and light too!! Very nice environment except for the bridge! LoL
But it’s there to be useful.

I know, I've seen nicer bridges than this one too. But the nature and sun make up for it :)

Hope they’ll have nicer designs of bridges in other places! 🙀
