Today is my second Canniversary!

I’ve had Canadian citizenship for two years and many things happened in this time.

We had two federal elections (with pretty much the same outcomes), almost two years of so called pandemic I have to say sometimes I’m wondering if this country is going in the right direction.

However, the things I actually do have a say in have been going great in these past two years. I’ve been relatively healthy. I have solid relationships with my family and friends. I’ve had many good jobs and I think I found the right one to be a part of. My financial situation is getting better every day.

These are some of the things that make me grateful for living in Canada and being a Canadian citizen. It’s been almost seven years since I first got to Alberta and it was a good decision.

Two very special people showed me the way and I’m forever grateful for their sacrifices. Because of them I am able to build my life in Canada and it is one of the reasons why I am trying to make the most of my life here. 🍁
