Traveling: Sea within a Sea

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

I hurry to present my following post.

Summer in Russia is extremely warm and usually solar. June always alternates both clear and rainy weather, but July with the first half of August always give us the pleasant sun almost in each part of our country.

Ideal time to go somewhere: to mountains, at the sea or at the sea to mountains.

This travel wasn't planned carefully therefore it was a bit spontaneous for us. Wished to see not only the sea, but also mountains, we chose the South of Russia together with adjacent subtropical Abkhazia.

The South of Russia - quite good option for summer vacation. Fruits and local sweets, palms and fragrant coniferous trees, sand and stones, locals and tourists, entertaining and improving rest are perfectly combined here.

The great pleasure is to be there, to eat local food, to swim in the sea in which water manages to get warm to fantastically effect by the evening.

Once coming back from the amusement park we unexpectedly for ourselves decided to curtail on the track conducting to the beach and as it appeared, not for nothing! Having left to the beach, we saw not only a charming sunset, but also a little bit frightening huge waves. At such magic sunlight we made many beautiful photos which you can see below.

Next our stop was Abkhazia, which is called the unique Black Sea health resort. The soft humid subtropical climate made us to feel most comfortably (in Russian it would be described: "as in mother's womb" :) )

In one day we managed to visit tremendous lake Ritsa surrounded with mountains giants;

see the lake which locals call "The blue lake"

and to taste amazing Abkhazian honey on a local apiary. Yummy!

Certainly, for the person living the most part of time in the huge city it is always not enough time spent at the sea. And we were not an exception. Stayed there more than a week, we most of all wanted to take away that ease of sea breeze and freedom of the boundless sea with ourselves.

Sea within a Sea.

I hope, it was pleasant and interesting to you to read my second post.
