Exploring Bali Botanic Garden: Cactus Delights
Hello Everyone! On this occasion, I would like to continue my experience at Bali Botanic Garden. In my previous post, I shared about various orchid plants, this time I will share about cactus plants.
In Bali Botanic Garden, there is a glass building where a plethora of thorny plants, belonging to the cactus family, can be found. Some grow short, some are tall, some bear fruits, and there are even poisonous ones.
Unfortunately, I couldn't capture individual pictures of each type of cactus, but there are definitely more than 30 different types of cactus plants in this indoor space.
I recognized several types, including Cereus Tetragonus (a cactus that can reach a height of more than 2 meters), Melocactus Azureus (often called the melon cactus due to its round shape), Candle Cactus (belonging to the Cactaceae family with 3-14 ribs), and many more.
