📷 Flamboyant Style

in #photography5 years ago (edited)

Architectural style Flamboyant (from French flamboyant, "flaming"), literally embodied. This short-lived art object was created especially for several tens of minutes of burning — the image of a Gothic castle in flames, as the artist and architect saw.

There is such a Slavic tradition in Late February / early March, just between winter and spring, to call in the Spring and pack off the Winter, burning Winter's scarecrow in the fire.

This is how this art object looked before the burning.

Usually it looks like a woman made of straw, but there are such variations among creative people. This year, it seems, they are going to build and burn a grand bridge. I hope I can see it.

February 2018, Russia.
