Under the same sky

How beautiful is this? I had a bad day and i rushed home amidst tears. I opened the gate and saw my mother's car and i knew she and my younger siblings were back from school and work. That would leave me no space to cry. Either way i climbed up to the tenth floor and stood outside the verandah and let all the tears out. I was leaving lagos against my will, and.i was leaving my bestfriend behind.

We had and still have a lot of chemistry going lol, made me feel even worse for leaving. I didnt have any friends in kaduna except for peers in church and it would be pretty lonely and boring.
I looked up and took a picture of the first image you see at the beginning.

Ladies and gentlemen this is the city of lagos. Onikan precisely which sits in the middle of victoria island, Ikoyi, Obalende and Lagos Island. Anyone whos familiar with Lagos city will also see the atlantic city being built, in the middle of the water.

When its sunny, its super beautiful. Clouds travel long distances.
That was how i found my comfort. I'd be far away from home, but we are all under the same sky. My mother, my siblings, my bestfriend, my memories. Everytime i miss home, i look up to the sky and pretend the clouds paased by home, picked up a note for me.and brought it right here in.Kaduna, up in the sky. Home doesnt feel so far away again.

Another image of when its about to rain at night. Where you see the red stroke, underneath is a ship that lights up at night. Sometimes i wish to be in it and sail far far away to a fairytale country. Lol.
