My Own Wildlife Nature Photography

One of my hobbies is getting out with my camera. I don't even need to go to far from home to realise just how much beauty and wildlife there is around us.

One of my favourite subjects is birds. They are so diverse and each species seems to have its own funny little characteristics. Magpies and crows are so bold, Starlings are cheeky and the humble robin is so shy to start with, but with encouragement he will eventually hang around while you are there and even eat from your hand if he comes to trust you.

I am very lucky to live by a small man made lake, and although its only a few years old, the wildlife is starting to come and live here and make it their new home.
Plus it means water now for all the birds and n easy supply of food as the lake starts to teem with fish and insect life.
