The first round of the National Geographic Photography Contest
The National Geographic of the 2017 Nature Photographer was launched and already received stunning images before it closes on 17 November.
Angad Ashaba picked up a picture of this yellow frog in the rainforest of Agomb, in the Indian state of Karnataka. This frog was formerly known as the "blue-eyed frog" because of the blue ring around his eyes.
The Tadami railway links the Fukushima and Niigata cities of Japan, a one-lane non-electrified route.
