Travel in your Room #1 - My First Aurora Borealis

After five days of waiting, when we are on the way back a few miles from the airport resigned to not seeing the Aurora Borealis, our dream comes true when we are coming out of a restaurant where we spent the last hours of our trip. The sky opens up and the snow-laden clouds give way to a magnetic current that paints the starry sky of an intense fluorescent green. Just in time to make our photos and snow comes back stronger than before. It does not matter, we have achieved our trip target and happier than ever before we go to the airport in order not to miss the plane departing for Oslo.

Dopo cinque giorni di invane attese, quando siamo sulla strada di  ritorno a pochi chilometri dall'aeroporto rassegnati a non vedere più  l'aurora boreale, il nostro sogno si avvera all'uscita da un locale in  cui trascorriamo le ultime ore del nostro viaggio. Il cielo si apre e le nuvole cariche di neve lasciano spazio ad una  corrente magnetica che dipinge il cielo stellato di un intenso verde  fosforescente. Il tempo necessario per fare le nostre fotografie e la neve torna più  forte di prima. Poco importa, abbiamo raggiunto l'obiettivo del viaggio e più contenti  che mai ci dirigiamo di corsa verso l'aeroporto per non perdere l'aereo  in partenza per Oslo.
