RE: Devastating - Imprinted by LightCaptured

I am glad you are OK!
Of course, as Internet is full of spam and scam, mainstream media is that too.
However, I've seen heartbreaking reports from the region of Valencia and last I heard the death toll is above 200. Such a real tragedy...

Sort:

yes you´re right, but actually their is 205 officicially named, thi snumbers are the trippling from the numnbers of the former year 23, but this is also a tragic fault from the authorities down ther ein that provinces, because they don´t do nothing against the mad situation in the construction of streets and infrastructure where all the time the capacity to collect rain or water in general and feed it without doing harm to the population to wastewaterplants or even the irrigation systems for funneling it back to the fields.
The silly thin gis that people in Andalucia stay at hom ewhen we had such heavy rain falls because they know for tens of years that the water will flood the streets so that they wont be passable some times, the only ones who can get hurt in such situations are the ones on the streets and in locations directly beside a small river.
The death toll in Traffic accidents in Spain is much higher (1200 each year), and even that is a small number when taking into account that the population is over 42 Million in Spain, its not a case to celebrate but there are things which might let all of us reflect about ;)

Yes... I am afraid this number will increase with time.
The other day I watched on the news people pelting mud and garbage at the king, furious basically for not being alerted on time.
I guess that if people in Valencia had been alerted and stayed at home, at the upper stories or roofs of the buildings, it would all have had a more positive outcome...

War on the roads takes much more casualties, you're right about that. Moreover, Bulgaria and Romania are "champions" with the most casualties in road accidents per million. I've rented cars in Spain a few times and apart from Madrid, I'd say, the driving "style" in Spain is much more relaxed, compared to the two countries I mentioned ;)

Just some good mirroring of the societies, if you get what I mean. As you say, many things to reflect upon ;)

yes, unfortunatelly I guess you are right on that point, I´ve lived a short Period in my spanish life down there in Valencia when we first started to develop Solar-Farms in Spain, it´s another cultur, another kind of people down there, they are lovely like all the spainish ones, but its more formal there like in Madrid, Barcelona or Málaga (pues, ah Málaga, es otra cosa no sé).

oh I wasn´t aware of that, did you know that we have a bigger population of Bulgarian and Romanian here in Andalucia, not as big as the english but bigger than the german ones ;)

yes, that´s exactely to the point, my wife is from Madrid, and the traffic over there is the same like in Paris, or Berlin and Rome, but nothing compared to Sicily in Palermo and Catania, in my time over there (nearly 3 years) I lerned how to drive safe in the most agressiv to cities I ever were self driving and not have had a driver. I tell you, if one is able to survive this, he can drive everywhere in the world without having problems and fear for an accident.

And now my friend let´s hope that things will turn to the better side as the elections in America are the most interesting thing in the world, even if I don´t thnk that one of the two candidates will make a big change.

Oh, quite interesting, I didn't know that. Not that it impresses me as many here are moving out just to get a bigger salary, which is quite normal, our main asset is time.
I was thinking about that too, but I have huge problem with heat, I'd rather move to a country as Scotland or Iceland, LOL.

I guess it matters after all, as that's the most powerful country in the world and look how the news that Trump is leading got BTC up by at least 7% and a new all time high above $75k ;)

hehe yes, that has made me a good profit in one of the trades, but I guess we will now go a little sideways and then touch down again, because actually nothing is confirmed yet, nor the presidency and not the weekly candle above the old ATH ;)

Yes, I suspect this is just the heat of the moment and cooling down is going to hit us as a freight train, LOL
Good to see you manage to profit from it, I was just watching the trend, decided to not trade anything... My bad, I guess :)
