RE: FLOWERS FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT & INFORMATION ON THE STEEMITAS CLUB

Beautiful photos, but the rose in the first photo I liked the most!
Have you planted frost-resistant varieties of roses?
They tolerate winter well.
But it is better to cover them when the temperature
drops below - 10 -12 °C

Thank you. The roses I plant are suppose to handle our winters. We have tried covering them and we would still lose them. Sometimes our problem is that cold off the mountain behind our house comes down at the wrong time, usually in the Spring when things are starting show growth and budding out. A hard freeze at that time I believe is what takes them out. I know I have had cherry trees burst at the lower trunk.
