Mi excursión favorita en Bolivia fue todo un día de recorrido por el Salar de Uyuni. Imperdible si están viajando por la zona!
El salar de Uyuni es el mayor desierto de sal continuo, con una superficie de 10 582 km² (o 4085 millas cuadradas). Además es el salar que se encuentra a mayor altura, ya que está sitiado a unos 3650 msnm en el suroeste de Bolivia.

My favorite excursion in Bolivia was a full day tour of the Salar de Uyuni. It is something you don't want to miss if you are traveling around the area!

During the rainy season, from December to March, the salt becomes waterproof and the water accumulates on the surface creating a beautiful mirror effect.

Durante la temporada de lluvias, de diciembre a marzo, la sal se vuelve impermeable y el agua se acumula en la superficie creando un hermoso efecto espejo.

El pueblo de Uyuni es pequeño pero tiene un enorme mercado de pulgas donde se puede conseguir de todo y por muy buenos precios!

The town of Uyuni is small but has a huge flea market where you can get everything and for really good prices!

At the end of the day, see the sunset over there is just magical..

Ver el atardecer en el salar fue una experiencia realmente hermosa! Altamente recomendable.
