Pink Flowers Serie

A short serie of Pink Flowers take on my parents' garden with my "Old" Phone:

Rose is the flower of rose bushes, shrubs of the genus Rosa and the family Rosaceae. The rose garden is characterized above all by the multiplication of its nested petals which gives it its characteristic shape.

Appreciated for its beauty and its scent, celebrated since ancient times by many poets and writers as well as painters for its colors which go from pure white to dark purple through yellow and all the intermediate shades, and for its perfume, she became the "queen of flowers" in the western world (the peony disputes this title in China), present in almost all gardens and almost all bouquets.

The rose is one of the most cultivated plants in the world and ranks first in the flower market. But we often forget that rosebushes are also wild plants (the best known in Europe is the rose hips) with simple five-petal flowers, which have become fashionable, for their more natural appearance, for some decades under the name of "Botanical roses".

The cultivated rose bushes are the result of several millennia of first empirical transformations, then from the end of the eighteenth century, methodical, especially by hybridization. Varieties are innumerable, and it is estimated that more than 3,000 cultivars are currently available in the world1. The existence of roses goes back well before antiquity, proof is the fossils found in the American West and dated more than 40 million Years.
