Excellent examples - those wings really shows what details are all about.
Regarding ISO settings though - I would claim that also the camera you are using has a slight impact on how much grain you get (at least from what I can compare with canon's cameras - 40D/60D/80D - here age does matter, because the picture processors are getting a little bit better on newer cameras).

Thanks my friend. i agree. different brand of DSLR and type does better noise reductions. thou i have not tried other dslr but read about it a lot.
